Use BitCash For Gift Cards!

As BitCash aims to be the “World’s Most Usable Cryptocurrency”, tackling mass adoption is a very important aspect. We created the PeerQ platform to bring the “Average Joe” a familiar, easy-to-use site that introduces them to the world of cryptocurrency.

As the “Average Joe” earns BitCash on the PeerQ website he/she might not have an idea on how to use an exchange to convert BitCash back into fiat currency. This could potentially discourage a user from returning to PeerQ. So, the BitCash team has been exploring the different ways that users could seamlessly earn BitCash and redeem their BitCash with very little experience.

Use BitCash to purchase GiftCards

BitCash is collaborating with RockinPrices and Cryptocurrency Checkout to allow our community to use BitCash to purchase gift cards from the following establishments:

  • Amazon
  • Starbucks
  • Best Buy
  • Home Depot
  • Dominos
  • 1–
  • GameStop
  • Xbox

How to Purchase a Gift Card

1.) Simply visit and click ‘Buy Gift Cards with Your BitCash’ located at the top of the page (or you can visit the Cryptocurrency Checkout Gift Card Marketplace directly).

2.) Select the establishment from which you would like to receive a gift card and the gift card amount and click ‘Buy with Cryptocurrency’.

3.) Click ‘Continue to Payment’ and select ‘Pay With BITC’

4.) Select your payment option and enter the corresponding details

5.) Upon completion of payment you will receive confirmation that your payment was sent and shortly after that you will receive a notification that payment was received.

If the BitCash daily volume is too low on exchanges or there is more than 5% drop in price in a 24 hour period, then the ability to purchase gift cards with BitCash will be disabled until volume and/or price stabilize.

Also note that most gift cards are specific to US based sites.

So, although international users can technically use, for instance, the gift cards, they would be purchasing from the US version of Amazon and likely must pay for international shipping.

There are Domestic and International Mobile Refill options available, but RockinPrices has not yet started listing them on the Cryptocurrency Checkout Marketplace.

RockinPrices is currently seeking a wholesaler for international Gift Cards and they hope to start offering more gift card options in the future.
