BitCash Hard Fork Incoming
On July 23rd 10:00 UTC BitCash will hard fork.
Wallet v0.17.17
This wallet version will remove the master key and it will introduce the new nicknames with a viewkey for the webwallet and mobile wallet. This wallet version will also implement the new BitCash Stable Feature.
BitCash Stable Feature
BitCash Stable was deactivated on July 5th to avoid any manipulation until we are able to implement a new pricing system in this hard fork.
The new system will introduce a new price system with 2 prices, One price will be a 7 day average and the other price will be the spot price. The lower price of the two price will be utilized to convert BitCash to BitCash Dollar while the higher price allows a user to covert BitCash Dollar.
The purpose of the two price system is to make the price less predictable so that one could not repeatedly create new BitCash. Also the new system deters a user from quickly minting/burning whenever there is sudden price hike or dump because it is more advantageous for the price to stabilize before converting.
Please make sure to update your wallet and send any BitCash to your new webwallet.
